New StyDex-PFAS Paper

Our latest collaboration with the Dichtel group at Northwestern explores the structure-PFAS adsorption relationship among 20 novel StyDex polymers.

Our results demonstrate that PFAS adsorption affinity can be tuned based on the chemistry of the cyclodextrin monomer and the chemical structure of the comonomer. We discovered an unexpected comonomer that imparts unprecedented adsorption affinity for a diverse group of PFAS. This study sets the stage for advancing StyDex polymers to the next stages of performance evaluation and scale-up for full-scale implementation.
