FLX PFAS Project
The FLX PFAS Project is an undergraduate research project in the Helbling Research Group that aims to assess the occurrence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in surface waters around Cornell and within the Finger Lakes Region.
The team has gotten off to a great start, and recently presented their findings at the New York State Federation of Lakes Association Conference in Lake George, NY. Our interactive GIS map also went live on that same day and it can be accessed here.
We are looking forward to what’s to come!
